Intern – Farmacie / Science and Business Management – Global Regulatory Affairs Biologicals

 

Welcome to our team!

Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA) is accountable for licensing and maintaining pharmaceutical and biological animal health products worldwide. GRA Biologicals is a part of this department, and responsible for the biological portfolio consisting of vaccines and immunological products. Within GRA Biologicals, there are 3 RA species teams: Swine/Aqua, Poultry and companion animal/Ruminants. The species team Swine/Aqua that you will become a part of consists of 12 employees. Half of the team are subject matter experts which focuses on the scientific aspects of regulatory submissions, while our licensing team members deal with the procedural aspects.  The background of our staff is broad. They come from various life science fields, such as molecular biology, veterinary medicine, immunology, and pharmacy or from a management background. The team works closely with other departments within the company, country regulatory affairs specialists worldwide and liases with Health Authorities to achieve the stated goals.

 

Your internship assignment

As an intern, you will be responsible for registration procedures of innovative biological products in the EU, as well as worldwide.

 

Your responsibilities

Compilation of state of the art dossiers, variation and renewal packages for licensing of new biological products and maintenance of the existing portfolio under the support of a more senior team member
Maintain accurate regulatory records of procedural activities in the company databases
Review and verify data across internal and external data bases to ensure accuracy of information
Support change management by providing overviews of more complex changes
Participate (with support) in the design of optimal submission strategies for licensing procedures
Providing a fresh perspective to the department by sharing your opinion
The described tasks form the basic package and will often be performed independently after a proper training and learning period. These tasks may be supplemented with other projects and/or tasks on your own initiative or at the request of the organization.

 

What is required

Farmacie, Farmakunde, Science and Business Management, Science, Management and Innovation student
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Interest in life sciences and animal health.
Available for a period of 6 month for 5 days per week: hybrid working model is possible for this assignment (60% on-site presence is required).
